Albany Early Learning Centre
At YMCA Albany Early Learning Centre you will find Educators of different ages and backgrounds, who are welcoming and respectful of each family who enters the centre. Our centre is calm, warm and inviting and offers a ‘home away from home’ experience for children to grow and develop. Children are encouraged to participate in sustainable practices by growing vegetables, developing the worm farm and recycling. We have places for children from birth to 5 years.
The centre offers a diverse creative arts program, specialised music and movement programs, nutritious home-style food and affordable fees. We are conveniently located across the road from Yakamia Primary School. The centre is a member of Remida - a creative reuse centre that supplies recyclable materials to services for children to be creative with and learn about sustainability.

We love watching the children develop and grow into strong and capable individuals who can achieve anything. Watching the children gain a sense of achievement when they accomplish a new challenge is exciting – especially when we know that we had an impact on it. Each individual child brings a smile to our face, and makes our day complete. We love to watch them explore and discover new things, achieve milestones and overcome hurdles each day.
We absolutely love our YMCA Albany daycare! I have peace of mind that Kohen will be well looked after and loved while I have to work. The staff make the centre feel like a home and even stop to say hi to Kohen outside of hours. I also appreciate the fact that I have a little story to read at the end of each day about the activity Kohen has been a part of so I don't miss out on anything. I have recommended other family members to use the centre and they love it too.
